JioPages- A "Made in India" web browser

Reliance Jio today (27-Oct-2020) announced its first "Made in India" web browser named JioPages. Jio said that their web browser is built on Chromium Blink engine. It will provide enhanced browsing experience by loading the pages faster, faster engine mgration, better media stream, an encrypted connection from user to client. 


It also supports 8 indian languages, these are:

  1. Hindi
  2. Tamil
  3. Malayalam
  4. Bengali
  5. Marathi
  6. Gujarati
  7. Telugu
  8. Kannada

  • You will see here a Personalized Theme feature, from where you can select a theme from variety of themes available of your choice to enhance your browsing experience. There is an option of Dark Mode through which you can use the browser at night without facing any difficulty to your eyes.

  • As in other browsers, JioPages is also providing Incognito mode. Where you can go Incognito and browse much safely and privately, moreover Jio has added an extra feature in it in order to privide more security to your Incognito mode by securing it with a pin. You can bookmark your website in it.

  • Here you will the feature like Personalised Home Screen, where you can edit your browser's home screen. you can pin links of your favourite websites on home screen in order to access them quickly. You can also add some informative cards like  Cricket live score, trending news, stock market price and many more.

  • As the browser is supporting 8 Indian languages, so you can customize the browser language of your choice.
  • JioPages is having default Ad blocker feature, so that you can serve the website without facing Ads and popups.

How To get JioPages browser-

Currently this browser is avalable for only Android users, and it can be downloaded from Google playStore.
